This kiln is made of 3,200 fire bricks. After the alterations, the kiln is 3.5 meters long. The chimney is 5 meters. After 2 days of loading and 2 to cut wood, the kiln burns up to 8 tons of wood over an 82 hour continuous firing. 6 people stoke the fire in shifts. It usually reaches high firing temperature of 2,280F (1250C) on the second night.
